All of the votes have been counted and the 2019 Municipal Election is history. There was a high turnout again with 1,143 votes cast for a 41.5% turnout. This is similar to what we saw in 2017. Most of the races were close with the winner having a margin of as little as 3 votes to as much as 40 votes. This proves how much your vote counts!! Considering the fact that Ashford Republican are outnumbered by the Democrats 2 to 1, our candidates did pretty well!! Thanks go out to all of the candidates and campaign workers. UPDATE: Recount was held 11/08/2019. A few votes changed, but results did not change.
